LA synth-pop artist Juno Vale pairs late-night production with hooks that don't blink. The Sodium Lights EP (June 2026) marked a breakout moment; new single "Vanish Point" arrives July 29.
Juno Vale started the way a lot of LA projects do — a day job, a garage, and a synthesizer bought secondhand off a guy in Van Nuys. What came out of that garage didn't sound secondhand. Early single "First Frost" earned quiet traction on late-night playlists, but it was this summer's Sodium Lights EP that turned the project from a secret into a conversation.
The sound sits somewhere between dark synth-pop and alt-R&B: analog synths, unhurried drums, and vocals mixed close enough to feel like a phone call. Vale writes about the in-between hours — drives home, cities emptying out, the conversations people only have after midnight.
